Blade is bringing back its by-the-seat jet service between the New York area and South Florida. The company, now part of Joby Aviation, announced on October 2, 2026 that BLADEone will return on November 19, operated in partnership with Aero, the Los Angeles-based private jet airline. The seasonal service is expected to run through May 2, 2027.

Flights will operate between Westchester County Airport (HPN) and Palm Beach or Miami: President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT) in Palm Beach, as the release names it, or Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF). Aero subsidiary USAC Airways 695 will operate the flights on a commercial jet retrofitted with 16 single seats, each between the windows and the aisle, with Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, curated amenity kits, and in-cabin service by the SKYfx team.

In New York, passengers can depart from Blade Lounge West on Manhattan's West Side by helicopter, landing jetside at Westchester County Airport in about ten minutes, or start at Blade's private terminal lounge at the airport. In Miami, BLADEone uses the Blade-Aero Lounge at Opa-Locka; in Palm Beach, a private terminal.

"BLADEone sits squarely in the white space between a $1,000 first class seat and a $25,000 private jet charter. Given the significant migration of New Yorkers to South Florida, as well as the increase in business travel between the two geographies, there has never been a better time to reintroduce our service," said Rob Wiesenthal, founder and CEO of Blade, in the announcement.

Blade pioneered the category in 2015, and BLADEone flew until its discontinuation in May 2024, according to The Points Guy. The return puts Blade in direct competition with JSX, which already flies between Westchester and both South Florida airports.

"Aero exists for travelers who want the privacy and ease of a private jet without chartering the whole aircraft," said Ben Klein, CEO of Aero. "After working together with Blade this summer on our Los Angeles to East Hampton service, BLADEone is the obvious next step, and the New York to Florida corridor is the right addition to our current network of routes out of New York."

Pricing starts at $2,450 each way, according to Private Jet Card Comparisons, which also reports that southbound flights operate Thursdays and Fridays and northbound on Sundays and Mondays, and that up to five dogs under 20 pounds may fly for $500 per flight.
