When we get something wrong, we correct it openly and note it on the page.
Our standard
JET & TRAVEL verifies every factual claim against a primary or near-primary source before publication. Where we err, we correct openly and promptly. Accuracy is the basis of this publication's claim on its readers, and we would rather publish less than publish what we cannot defend.
How to report an error
Tell us what is wrong, where it appears, and what the correct information is, with a source where possible. Use the editorial desk on our contact page. We read every report.
How we correct
Material factual errors are corrected in the article itself, and a correction note is added to the page stating what changed and when. Minor errors of spelling, punctuation, or style are corrected without a note. We never silently alter a substantive claim, and we never rewrite an article to hide a mistake.
