Waldorf Astoria is coming to Malaysia. The brand's Kuala Lumpur hotel, at 73 Jalan Raja Chulan in the Bukit Bintang district, opens on October 30, 2026, with reservations now open, according to Hilton.
The property is all suites: 268 of them, from 80-square-metre one-bedroom suites to the 745-square-metre Waldorf Astoria Suite. Dining includes Peacock Alley and concepts led by chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, whose JG KL is the hotel's signature restaurant.
The wellness offering is the headline. A 2,275-square-metre sanctuary across two floors, unveiled on September 29, is built around what the hotel calls the science of recovery and the art of longevity. Six wellness pillars anchor a program with La Prairie treatments (including a Kuala Lumpur Ritual inspired by the Malayan tiger), seven treatment rooms, a Technogym studio, an AlterG treadmill, MECOTEC cryotherapy, an outdoor yoga pavilion, a 20-metre pool, and a Masters in Residence programme, alongside private wellness memberships.
"Now open for reservations, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur marks the reawakening of a truly iconic address, reimagined for a new generation of discerning travellers," said Etienne Dalançon, the hotel's general manager, in Hilton's announcement.
"Today's luxury traveller increasingly values experiences that help them feel better, perform better and live better," Dalançon said. "Our vision was to create one of Southeast Asia's most comprehensive urban wellness destinations."
The opening offer, the Waldorf Astoria Indulgence Escape, includes breakfast and 15,000 Hilton Honors points for members on stays of at least two nights.
