On June 10, 2026, Gulfstream Aerospace announced its 100th customer delivery of the G700, and on the same day the type logged its 100th city-pair speed record. The company presented the pairing as evidence of both production maturity and real-world utilization, a little over two years after the G700 entered service in April 2024.
The record flights were a transcontinental double. A G700 flew from Savannah, Georgia, to San Jose, California, in 4 hours and 36 minutes at an average cruise speed of Mach 0.91, then continued from San Jose to Teterboro, New Jersey, in 4 hours and 14 minutes, also at Mach 0.91. Gulfstream counted the Savannah to San Jose leg as the type's 100th city-pair record.
“The G700 has once again set a new benchmark, firmly establishing itself as the business aviation industry flagship,” said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, in the company's announcement. “As deliveries have increased, so has customer demand.”
Gulfstream publishes a range of 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 6,650 nautical miles at Mach 0.90 for the G700. That positions it between the longer-legged G800, at 8,200 nautical miles, and the faster Bombardier Global 8000, at Mach 0.95. The three aircraft now define the competitive triangle at the top of the ultra-long-range market.
