The Falcon 6X entered service on November 30, 2023, when Dassault Aviation delivered the first aircraft following type certification by EASA and the FAA. It is the widest purpose-built business jet cabin Dassault has offered, and the company's first all-new Falcon program in its current generation.
Dassault publishes a range of 5,500 nautical miles at Mach 0.80 and 5,100 nautical miles at Mach 0.85, with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.90. The cabin measures 6 feet 6 inches high and 8 feet 6 inches wide, seats up to 16 passengers, and is lit by 30 windows plus a cabin skylight, a first for a Falcon.
The 6X sits below the ultra-long-range flagships in both range and price, aimed at operators who want large-cabin comfort on transatlantic-length missions without stepping up to a G700 or Global 7500. The Falcon 10X, now in flight test, will take the top of the Dassault range when it enters service.
