Embraer delivered the first Praetor 600E to Flexjet on September 18, 2026, with the fractional operator serving as fleet launch customer for the upgraded model. The delivery is the first under a February 2025 agreement valued at up to $7 billion, covering a firm order for 182 aircraft, options for 30 more, and an expanded services and support package.
At announcement, the deal was both the largest executive jet order in Embraer history and the largest aircraft order Flexjet has ever placed. Flexjet has a long record as an Embraer launch customer: the Legacy Executive in 2003, the Phenom 300 in 2010, the Legacy 450 in 2016, the Praetor 500 and 600 in 2019, and now the 500E and 600E in 2026.
The 42-inch Smart Window
The headline cabin feature is Embraer's Smart Window, a 42-inch 4K OLED touchscreen for video, video conferencing, and external camera views. Embraer describes the 600E as the world's first certified aircraft with a fully operational Smart Window. The 600E and 500E share a reimagined cabin with new Embraer-designed seating, electric-assisted controls, and seamless berthing to lie-flat.
Published range is 4,018 nautical miles with four passengers under NBAA IFR reserves, which Embraer positions as enabling nonstop London to New York or Sao Paulo to Miami.
Flexjet expects 12 Praetor 600Es by the end of 2026, with Praetor 500E deliveries beginning later in 2026, for which Flexjet is also fleet launch customer. The mix of the 182 firm orders beyond the Praetors has not been detailed publicly.
