On April 16, 2025, the FAA and EASA certified the Gulfstream G800. The first customer aircraft was delivered on August 27, 2025, from Gulfstream’s completions facility in Appleton, Wisconsin.

On June 28, 2026, a G800 flew nonstop from Melbourne, Australia, to Moline, Illinois, in 16 hours and 56 minutes at an average Mach 0.85. Gulfstream calls it the farthest and fastest flight in business aviation history.

Gulfstream’s fleet has now set 815 city-pair speed records. Fifteen of them were set by the G800 in its first year of service.
Succession
The G800 replaces the G650 in the Gulfstream lineup. The final G650 was completed in February 2025. Gulfstream publishes no list price for the G800, and this publication will not estimate one.
